About me

I'm Sofía, a Computer Engineer and technology innovation leader — I live in Montevideo, Uruguay.

I connect innovation, technology, diversity, and a global vision to help people and organizations create real, lasting impact.

I hold a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de la República and a Master's in Computer Science from PEDECIBA. With over 13 years in the IT industry, my path has taken me from technical roles to executive leadership — today I serve as Head of Innovation, Research and Development at Ceibal, driving innovation in education with AI at its core.

I was selected for Santander's SW50 program and am a Women Techmakers Ambassador, committed to gender equity and multicultural leadership in STEAM. I completed executive programs at MIT and ESADE, and I'm a frequent speaker on technology, innovation, and inclusive leadership. I'm currently completing an Innovation Management program at Universidad Católica del Uruguay.
